WHEAT GERM

Wheat Germ has two components

Less perishable than whole wheat germ, it is often used to add flavor and nutrients to grain-based products, especially pasta. However, its toasty, nutty flavor is also a delicious addition to cereals, breads, muffins, cookies etc.

The oil free flakes or powder is rich in protein approximately 30% Soluble dietary fiber and 28% Protein. It has a longer self-life than the raw unprocessed wheat germ.

Defatted Wheat Germ is a rich source of:

  • Vitamin B6
  • Folic acid
  • Niacin

  • Dietary Fiber
  • Manganese
  • Omega 3 fatty acids
  • Protein
  • Selenium
  • Zinc
